Description
Consists of components that the learners will eventually work with automation machinery field, such as servo drive, frequency inverters, pneumatic cylinders and various kinds of sensors.
Uses a modular design approach to study the control of an PLC controlled automatic production line.
The system consists of 5 modular stations, includes material supply station, processing station, assembly station, conveying station and sorting station. All stations are fully installed on one aluminium profile training platform.
All stations are controlled by separate PLC controllers and contain independent pneumatic valves manifold so that each station can be programmed to operate independently.
·All stations can be combined in Multi-PLC network scheme based on RS485 serial communication between PLCs from all stations.
All electrical connection between control panel and external device are made by distribution board with socket plug for easier connection and maintenance purpose.
Training Scope
Automatic production line sequence control, from material supply, processing, assembly, material transport to product sorting.
Application of inductive sensors, capacitive sensors, optic sensors, magnetic sensors, color sensors and optical encoders.
Application of various kinds of pneumatic cylinders – standard cylinder, compact cylinder, twin rod cylinder, rotary cylinder and gripper cylinder.
PLC programming, from beginner level to advance level, on different stations. Include advance programing training in analogue & digital signal, high speed input, high speed pulse output, digital positioning control, communication between multiple units of PLC controllers and communication with touch screen HMI*.
Application of frequency inverters and 3 phase motor control.
Application of AC servo motor in position control.
Understanding of electrical wiring design of an automation machine.
Introduction to complex mechanical design of real automation machine.
